A lovely Victorian turquoise and ruby set brooch in the shape of a coiled snake. These were made very popular during Queen Victorias reign, signifying eternal love.
The brooch has a C clasp and tube hinge, and the pin is metal for strength. There is an empty memorial panel at the back of the head.
This could be converted to a pendant with the addition of a 9ct Gold eyelet and jump ring, should you wish, just choose the pendant option from the 'buy it as' options.
The condition is good antiue, with just minor age related wear as seen in the photos.
