A delightful, substantial trilogy ring, dating to the Georgian era.

This ring has a detailed gold band with only light signs of wear and beautifully carved acanthus scroll bridge and shoulders.

The centre stone is a lively foiled, chunky old cut diamond, held in a domed closed back setting. We have had two gemmologists assess the pink stones and they have both given different opinions on possible natural stones, as the foiling has worn slightly with time and with the closed back settings, it is impossible to say for certain, unless we unset the gemstones, which I would not personally choose to do in a ring of this age. So I am selling them as pink stones, possibly Rubies, but also possibly not! One has a more vibrant pink tone, with the other showing more purple tones.

In very good antique condition and ready to be worn and enjoyed, these are getting harder to find! As the gemstones are held in closed back foiled settings, it is important to take care when wearing it and not to get it wet.
