An early Victorian daisy ring, with a flat cut garnet and turquoise cabochon petals. The turquoise are all held in a sweet closed back setting, with granulation detail to the edge of each 'petal'. It has developed quite a beautiful patina, which we have left exactly as found.
 
There is a very faint unreadable hallmark, but it has been tested as 9 carat gold.
