In very good condition, this Bloodstone paste seal, features two beautifully carved love hearts, tied together with knots. The French words 'point d'alexandre' are inscribed around them, which I believe could roughly translate as Alexander Bridge. This is a bridge in Paris which was opened in 1900, so maybe this seal was made to celebrate an occasion such as an engagement?
