This lovely early Victorian snake pendant is crafted in 18 carat gold. It was originally part of a brooch and the snake held a broken opal. We have replaced that with this beautiful cabochon Emerald, a worthy match. It appears deep green in colour due to the closed back setting, but glows vibrantly when the sunshine hits. There are some jardin inclusions, typical of Emeralds.
