I can never resist a pansy and I know how much you love them too. In floriography they mean 'think of me' and the motif was regularly given as a romantic gift during the Victorian era.

The enamel on this piece is particularly lovely, with detailed violets, lilacs, yellow and white depicting the pansy. There is a little loss around the edges, which you can see in the photos. The pocket watch to the reverse has no glass, but sits comfortably as the gold holds it away from the skin. The pansy hinges open with a locket compartment, which is marked 14k to the inside and tests as such.
