Antique Georgian l'amour sepia pendant enamel setting 9 carat gold

A delicately painted sepia scene, likely from a mourning piece with all of the symbolism pictured here. Two doves, rest on a plinth, with the words l'amour, meaning love written around the top. 
 
There is small chip to the bottom of the crystal, which I have photographed. It has been added to a later red and white enamel border frame, so that it may be worn as a pendant. 
 
This is a delicate piece, suitable for occasional wear. There are one or two signs of lead in the enamel frame and it looks as if the central sepia is held with jewellers cement. I have noted the condition in the pricing, but could not resist the charm of this one!
