A wonderful mid to late Victorian era pendant, depicting a bird, made from colourful feathers, under a glazed compartment.
 
In a closed back setting, with a detailed pinched and granulated goldwork edging. The condition is very good antique, the glazing has a slightly clouded appearance and the bird does turn inside the setting, but sits still when worn.
