Dating to the very early Victorian era, this is a ring with a seriously cute butt! It features a wonderful large rectangular-ish garnet cabochon, in very good condition for its age. It has a wonderful deep-vivid glow, depending on how the light hits it.

It has a simple band, with fleur de lis detailed shoulders that join up to the wonderful fluted closed back setting. There is a very fine line from a previous repair at the back, but it is secure and doesn't affect the rings integrity.

Due to the domed back, it doesn't measure correctly on the mandrel, but it will fit around an M-N UK and 6.25-6.5 and a smidge US.
