Well, these are quite something! The old cut diamond panels are crafted in 18ct and platinum and date to the Edwardian era, with fine detail and a millgrain edge setting. I believe the moonstone drop and hooks may be slightly later replacements to what was originally held there (although you would never know because they WORK) but the gold settings of the moonstones and hooks test as 9ct gold, which is the clue.
The larger diamonds in the panel are old cuts, with large hand facets and one pulls slightly more warmth than the other. A delightful, characterful pair of earrings, they do not dissapoint.
