Antique Victorian snake knot ring 15 carat Gold

Such a simple design for a snake ring, with what appears to be one single strand of gold twisted into both a knot and a snake. Its coiled body is engrave with scales in some places (intentional I think) and its sweet little face is finished with boggle eyes. There is a little wear to the sides of the ring where it has been worn against another band. I would keep this in a heartbeat!
