Antique Edwardian fancy trombone and knot link bracelet 9 carat gold
Era: Early 20th century C.1912
Metal: 9 carat gold, marked on every link
Size: 19.5cm/7.2" long
Width: trombone links 5.9mm, knot links 6.8mm
Weight: 14.8g
A fantastic fancy link bracelet, I love the detailed trombone links and chunky knots! A substantial weight, it will mix well with other pieces or be your new favourite everyday one and done bracelet! The gold has a mellow tone, with some warmth, but it sits on the yellower side of the spectrum of antique gold. The condition is excellent antique and the dog clip functions well.
It carries marks for 9.375 on all of the links as well as a date stamp and anchor on the end jump ring. It is also marked for the maker 'J.G&S' for John Grinsell and Sons which was a renowned manufacturer of silverwear, as well as gold items, in Birmingham from the mid Victorian era, continuing into the 20th century.
The image of the bracelet worn shows multiple items, but this listing is only for the 1 bracelet described here.
