Hands down my favourite chain link, the cable! And this is not one, but two rows of THE chubbiest cables ever. This super wearable double row bracelet has been created from an antique albert chain, at some point in its history, using the original bolt ring to close it, with the addition of two oval shaped jump rings, making the length somewhat adjustable. If you close it on the tighter of the two rings, it makes it around 7.2" long.
Sadly, there are no marks anywhere, but it has been tested as 9 carat gold throughout. The tone is a mellow colour, more on the yellow than warm side of the gold spectrum, but it does pull a little warmth. It looks as if it may at one point has been flashed (and could be again) as the colour is more intense yellow on the inside of the links.
One or two links show minor marks appropriate to its age, but nothing that detracts from the overall wow effect of this piece!
