Antique Victorian Sapphire and Diamond trilogy ring 18 carat gold

A fantastic example of a flush set trilogy ring, with a captivating mid blue sapphire at its centre.
It has been crafted in a luxuriously chunky 18 carat gold setting, that is smooth and tactile and comfortably perfect for every day wear. This style of gemstone setting is particularly good at keeping them well protected from damage and so both the sapphire and diamonds are free from any chips.
The old european cut diamonds are a very good size at 3.5mm each, they are bright and eye clean, making it an impactful ring overall, that will not disappoint.
A small sizing band has been added inside the shank in its history which carries a sweet engraving 'A 7/4/01 C' which leads me to believe the ring was made around the turn of the 20th century.
