An exceptionally rare and well made antique French old and rose cut diamond ring, that gives wonderful finger coverage. The centre of the ring has five old cut diamonds, which are bezel set in gold. Surrounding this are two rows of black enamel and two rows of a total of seventy three rose cut diamonds.
 
The diamonds vary in colour and clarity, but are all bright and lively and add an excellent old cut sparkle to this gorgeous panel design.
 
The shoulders and band are trifurcate with scroll detail, and the head of the ring sits above a detailed open gallery.
 
Rings of this quality do not appear very often!
