Antique Victorian Garnet and Pearl cluster ring 9 carat gold

Another stunning ring, that sits right on the cusp between the Georgian and Victorian eras, with a fully repousse foliate shank and all of the gemstones held in a closed back setting.
The centre flat cut garnet is just over 5mm and a wonderful raspberry tone. The other six garnets vary between flat cut and rose cut shapes, I suspect one or two may have been replaced in the rings history, looking at the settings. The natural pearls show some wear and minor loss of nacre, but it would be a crime to disturb them at this point in its life!
Overall a wonderful piece of history, in good shape, but in need of a gentle caring hand, that respects its age and beauty.
