Antique Victorian forget me not sardonyx pearl cluster ring 18 carat gold

This is a fine early Victorian, 18 carat gold memorial ring with a carved forget me knot sardonyx gemstone, held in a bezel setting. It is surrounded by eight silver grey toned natural pearls, and to the back is an empty memorial panel.
 
The ring has some beautiful engraved detail to the shoulders and band, and there is a small evidence of a resize at the back. 
 
The condition is excellent with very little wear for a ring of this age.
