A gorgeous pair of high Victorian 9 carat gold earrings, with hook fittings. These consist of two sections and are articulated so that they move when worn.
Beautifully made in the Etruscan revival style, they are rare to find. Each earring is set with two lustrous natural pearls at the centre of blue enamel stars.
In good antique condition with beautifully detailed fringes all present and enamel decoration, they would be lovely for evening wear. There is some wear and loss to the enamel commensurate with age. There are some sneaky patches of lead solder, not on any part that touch the ear but in the construction of the bottom part of the drop.
