An elegant, impressive Emerald and Diamond 18 carat gold trilogy ring. This gorgeous ring dates to circa 1880 and is set with an emerald cut gemstone and 2 bright old cut diamonds.
 
The Emerald is in very good antique condition, with just very minor surface wear seen with a X10 loupe. It is wonderful and vibrant with some characterful jardin inclusions. The old cut Diamonds have been verbally graded as G colour and SI clarity, which means they are of excellent quality.
 
The head of the ring holds the gemstones in a claw setting and it would make a lovely vintage dress ring or engagement ring with over a carat of gemstones.
