Antique Georgian rose cut diamond stud earrings 9 carat gold

These rose cut diamond studs, are made from original Georgian era components. The diamonds, in their closed back and foiled silver cut down collets have been given a new lease of life, with the addition of 9ct gold 10mm long posts and butterfly backs. 
 
A really pretty pair of earrings, in a timeless design, they sit fairly flat on the earlobe, 4mm in depth. There is some darkening of the foil due to age and some natural feathery inclusions in the Diamonds, visible to the eye. They have character and charm.
