Antique Victorian emerald diamond half hoop ring 18 carat gold

Set with Gorgeous vivid Green Emeralds and old cut Diamonds in buttery, rich yellow gold, this ring sits comfortably on the finger.
 
The Emeralds in this ring are particularly high quality with vivid, saturated colour and excellent clarity. The old cut Diamonds have large open culets, feature one or two small speckled carbon inclusions, but are very bright white and full of character sparkling in the sunshine. There is some very minor age related wear to facet edges on the gemstones, if I am being particularly fussy, but this ring will absolutely not disappoint. 
 
The engraving on the shoulders, typical of a piece crafted in the later Victorian era C.1880-1900 are joined by a further detailed engraved gallery, which is beautiful. 
 
A wonderful ring in very good antique condition, this one will not disappoint!
