A gorgeous, tactile 9 carat gold signet ring with an east-west square/oval shape. The face measures 9.7mm tall and spreads 13mm across the finger. It has a wonderful 'worn in' feeling and carries an engraving to the reverse of the head '5th May 1952'. As well as a full hallmark with the mark for the chester assay office, which closed not long after.
