My pick of the week! This is dreamy.
A late Georgian era piece, with its closed domed back and central flat cut garnet, surrounded by a halo of plump creamy split pearls, all original and held in cut down collet settings. It is how hearts were depicted, before they were the heart shape we know today, this shape was common in jewellery into the early 1800's.
In exemplary condition for its age, it was probably once part of a larger suite of jewellery, we have added the eyelet and jump ring to make it wearable again today.
