A lovely large Victorian axe brooch conversion, that makes a statement pendant!
With old mine and cushion cut diamonds of a variety of shapes and sizes, all set in silver, the whole piece is open back in 9ct gold. The largest diamond is held in a raised claw setting, with the rest grain or bezel set. The silver has a wonderful antique patina.
In excellent antique condition, the diamonds show minor fleabites with the rectangular shaped one having a small chip to the left hand side, mentioned for accuracy.
