A fantastic beaded gold ball chain necklace, dating to the early 20th century. It is constructed with a fine gold chain onto which hollow gold beads have been threaded and can move freely along. It closes with a small bolt ring which functions well.
I suspect due to its yellow tone, it may have been gilded with a higher carat gold in its history, there are a few small spots wear this has started to wear, but it doesn't notice particularly when worn.
A fun texture to add to your stack! I would advise a little care with use, due to the slightly delicate nature of the base chain. The links are not particularly worn, but by the nature of its construction, it should not be yanked as it could break.
