Antique Victorian star set sapphire bangle 9 carat gold

A stunning bangle set with seven sparkly graduated mid blue sapphires in an oh so desirable star set design.
 
The bangle is antique victorian and although unmarked, it tests as 9 carat gold. The sides of the bangle are decorated with foliate engraving, and the clasp is secure. It has a high carat plating which gives it a gorgeous buttery yellow tone. The sapphires are a well matched mid- blue tone, with just one slightly brighter in colour which is a later replacement.
 
In very good condition with a hinge and safety chain. There are just a few little patches of discolouration to the gold, shown in the photos, where the plating has lightly worn.
