A lovely Victorian turquoise and pearl set brooch/pendant in the shape of a trefoil with crescent moon. These were known as honeymoon brooches, signifying new beginnings, with the trefoil for luck and abundance.
 
The piece has a fully removable bail for a chain, which slides on and off so that you can wear it either way. It closes with a C clasp and tube hinge brooch fitting.
