A really pretty, but substantial lavalier drop necklace in 18 carat gold. This exceptionally pretty celestial piece, is set with faceted aquamarine and ruby gemstones, with the star detail highlighted with 18 natural seed pearls.
This is a lovely late Victorian to Edwardian design and has an articulating lower drop section for fluidity and movement.
The aquamarine are a wonderful light sky blue, with pink toned rubies held in bezel settings, and the pearls are grain set in a star design.
The piece is stamped 18ct to confirm the gold and has been tested as such. It has that lovely yellow gold patina to it which compliments the gemstones beautifully. The section of the chain worn around the neck is likely a later replacement and there are some very small antique solder blobs attaching the chain to the top gemstone.
It will be presented in our vintage style luxury packaging with care card and description, and delivered by a tracked and signed for method.
