A gorgeous amethyst heart, with a plump white pearl in a star setting. This is a larger sized heart pendant and has a neat closed back, although I suspect it once had a locket back compartment. There is a double fine rope design border to finish it and the amethyst has a silver foil which you can see as the pendant moves in the sunlight.
 
There are no marks, but the pendant tests as 9 carat gold, with a higher carat flashing. In lovely antique condition.
