Antique tight cable link bracelet with dog clip 9 carat gold

Hands down my favourite chain link, the cable! This is a tight cable, with what can be called a c-link, which shows no gaps between the cable links. It closes with a large dog clip, 23mm long, that functions well and I chose carefully to match the heft of the bracelet. The dog clip has an ever so slightly warmer colour than the chain and is marked 9.375.
 
Sadly, there are no marks anywhere on the bracelet, but it has been tested as 9 carat gold throughout. The tone is a very mellow colour, more on the yellow than warm side of the gold spectrum, but it does pull a little warmth.
 
One or two links show minor marks appropriate to its age, which I have photographed for you to see.
