This is a beautiful faceted ruby set bow brooch dating to the late Victorian era. Likely of continental origin, due to the use of 14ct Gold, it has had a later replacement brooch pin and safety clasp fitted at some point during its life.
 
In excellent antique condition, with no chips to the gemstones, there is just one small area with evidence of glue. This is likely due to a replacement Ruby being added. 
 
It could be converted to a pendant should you wish, just choose the pendant option from the listing and allow two weeks for conversion before sending. If you wish it to a hang a certain way, please leave a note on our order, or message me!
