A stunning and unique natural opal, old and rose cut diamond, ruby eyed flying insect pendant. The bug is crafted in early 20th century platinum and we have added an 18 carat gold jump ring to make it a pendant. The colour in this opal is quite stunning, and the diamonds are bright and sparkly.

The pendant has been skilfully converted from a brooch by our Goldsmith and is a very impressive sized pendant and complete work of art, with the detail in the design.

The large central diamond is a gorgeous old cut, with an ever so slightly warm colour. The wings are intentionally alternating rose cuts and old cuts that are bright and lively and eye clean.

The pendant has no marks, but has been checked and confirmed for platinum. The Opal has a small natural inclusion to the reverse, which doesn't show through to the front of the stone. The colours are vivid and show green, blue, purple, yellow and orange.

The condition is excellent with the piece having had very little wear.

This gorgeous pendant will be sent with a full description and care card by special delivery or International signed for shipping, presented in our vintage style branded box.
