A true classic design of antique jewellery. Snake rings were popularised by Queen Victoria, whose engagement ring from Prince Albert was a single coiled serpent. They remained all the rage throughout the Victorian era and into the 20th century and we seemingly still have a fascination with them today!
Used to represent eternal love, the two snakes show to entwined souls. It is hallmarked on each snake band and they have sweet faces, with slightly open mouths and rounded noses. It is in excellent antique condition with just minor wear as expected on a piece of its age.
