Antique art deco diamond and emerald panel ring platinum

Gemstones: Emerald 5x4mm. Eight diamonds, 4mm square cut x two, 4mm old cut x two, 2.5 x 2.6mm cushion cut.

A stunning, eye catching Art Deco Emerald and Diamond platinum panel ring. This gorgeous ring dates to C.1920 and is set with a vibrant emerald and eight bright diamonds, verbally graded as VS-SI clarity and F/G colour assessed in setting.
 
The head of the ring holds the gemstones in a platinum grain and bezel setting and all are secure. The Emerald is in excellent antique condition with only very minor surface wear to the table edge seen under 10x magnification. There are no chips or surface scuffs. One centre square cut diamond looks table cut, while the other is an antique cushion cut, so the table cut may be a later replacement, or they used what they had available at the time! It is a subtle difference and does not look out of place.
 
A really magnificent antique art deco panel ring, at a fantastic price. It could be sized down significantly should you require and this would remove the section of 18ct white gold that has been used to size it up.
