We are all into insect jewellery right now and this fly is something special! The gold work is beautiful, with engraving detail on the wings, but the stars of the show are the gemstones.
A particularly high domed cabochon emerald, with a fantastic glow, has been paired with a long oval opal, which is white based but has fantastic play of colour throughout.
It has been removed from a brooch pin and we have added a new 9 carat gold jump ring to make this pendant, which is in very good antique condition.
