A stunning and very rare Fede gimmel ring dating to the early 1800’s by design. In excellent antique condition, this is a museum quality piece. There are three sections to the ring, that pivot to open, and the hands part to reveal  a double heart motif set on a central wave engraved band.
There are two rose cut diamonds in silver crimped pie crust settings, and a tiny collet set emerald in the ring on one of the hands.
Beautifully made and in excellent antique condition, this is a delightfull piece of history. From the design it could date to an even earlier period, but with no hallmark we cannot be certain. This ring is not resizeable due to the construction mechanism.
