A stunning Art Nouveau design necklace by the renowned maker Murrle Bennett. The series of five faceted amethyst gemstones are set in 9 carat gold claw settings. It dates to the Edwardian era, and is particularly lovely to have each section marked.
 
The whole piece is open backed and the sections are attached to a cable link chain with a barrel clasp fastening. It is in excellent condition with the original gemstones, which are a beautiful rich purple colour, there is some very minor surface wear, to be expected with its age.
