Vintage Australian black opal doublet pendant 14 carat gold
Era: Vintage 1992, original receipt
Metal: 14 carat gold marked 14k
Gemstone: Black opal doublet 20x16mm
Weight: 3.5 grams
The main centre piece of this stunning pendant is a good size, shimmering Australian black opal doublet. The fire in this stone is incredible, flecked with a rainbow of colours including blue, red, green and orange on a dark colour base.
Australian black opals are the rarest type of opal, coming from a place called Lightening Ridge, in New South Wales, Australia.
The opal itself is a large size and is in an open back polished gold claw setting. The pendant also comes with the original receipt showing that it was purchased in Australia on 4th November 1992.
The condition is excellent vintage with only light signs of wear, and pieces like these are extremely rare.
This amazing necklace will be sent in our vintage style box, by special or international delivery, with insured, tracked and signed for service. We will also include full details and a care card.
