A very pretty Victorian locket with a fouled anchor and shells to the front. Shells, ivy leaves and a blank cartouche to the back. This closes well and has the original fitted photograph inside of a wonderful Victorian gentleman in uniform. It is 9ct Gold back & front, which means that the entire front and back panels of the locket are gold to allow for the beautiful detailed engraving, but for strength the centre frame and hinge are made from gold toned base metal.
