A very pretty Regency era heart pendant, with beautiful detailed scrolling acanthus leaf engraving. It is set to the front with a Turquoise and Ruby forget me not flower and it has a locket back glass panel. Acanthus leaves represent resurrection and immortality in floriography, so are apt for a sentimental piece!
It is a beautiful pendant with the gemstones all in very good condition, with just a little colour variation to the turquoise from age. There are a couple of small dinks to its hollow formation, shown in the photos, but are mostly to the reverse so not shown when worn.
The glass locket panel to the reverse is empty and has some age related wear and a little muck underneath the edges. I would recommend having a jeweller open it to fit a photo should you wish, or reach out should you wish us to help with this.
