A stunning novelty two monkey hanging brooch!
 
Both are set with numerous sparkling paste stones, with green cabochon eyes.
The top monkey is sat on a gold bar, with the lower monkey hanging from a gold chain. The bottom monkey is set with stones front and back, and the whole piece is quite special.
 
The brooch fastening is an antique round hinge and C clasp.
 
I believe this to be a continental piece as it is marked 925 with a continental makers mark.
