Here we have a gorgeous 9 carat gold Victorian opal and old cut diamond pansy and crescent moon shaped pendant, converted from a brooch dating to the late 1800's.
 
At the centre is a pansy design set with five opal gemstones. The opals are vibrant with a full colour play, mostly based in vibrant blues and greens with an underlying orange glow and with a single old cut diamond set in the centre. There are a further 12 diamonds set along the curve of the crescent, graduating in size from the centre. It is in excellent antique condition.
