These lovely rare earrings date from the 1880’s and consist of old cut diamonds held in a claw setting, with a natural pearl and rose cut diamond set acorn drop.
They are articulated at the acorn setting so that they move.
The diamonds are wonderfully bright, verbally graded as G colour and very lively, with some natural feather inclusions. The pearls have a silver white tone with a high lustre. The backs are the antique lever back fittings, and the earrings look to be all original.
They are beautifully made in great condition, with just a touch of verdigris and a really elegant pair of antique earrings.
