A stunning bangle set with seventeen sparkly graduated old cut diamonds in a grain set split design. The diamonds have a great deal of character, with each one being hand cut and slightly different.
The bangle is antique and continental, although unmarked it tests as roughly 8 carat gold by xrf testing. 8 carat Gold was commonly used in europe in the 19th century. As it has a lower gold content, the metal alloy is very hardwearing and shows very few signs of its age.
In very good condition with a hinge and safety chain. There is just a few little patches of discolouration to the metal, shown in the photos, but it is a very wearable design today.
