A lovely Victorian padlock pendant, with a large central faceted Garnet. The glow on this is just beautiful. The body of the pendant is beautifully engraved with foliate scrolls and it has a little pansy on either side of the padlock arm. 
The padlock arm is fixed in place and doesn't open, so a jump ring has been added to the top to wear it on a chain as a pendant. Alternatively you can clip onto it with either end of a chain, if it has two fixings. 
 
The pendant has an empty locket back, to which a photograph could be added by a jeweller.
 
In excellent condition, it is ready to be worn and enjoyed.
