Such a pretty piece! This lovely pendant with a soft lilac and dusky pink enamel finish. It is beautifully detailed with gold stamens, a centre old cut diamond and foliate engraved petal edges. Very symbolic in Victorian floriography, the eglantine rose was chosen by Elizabeth I and is the 'tudor' rose. It means royalty.
It is in very good antique condition, ready to go on a chain. An absolute delight! A little discolouration to the enamel under the curves of the petals, I don't want to clean it too hard, but I think it would mostly come off. There is no wear or chips otherwise.
