Antique Edwardian cable chain 12ct Gold
Era: Edwardian 1901-1910
Metal: approximately 12ct Gold, tested.
Weight: 5.8 grams
Length: 51cm/20.07 inches
Width: 2mm
A desirable cable link pendant chain. It tests above 9 carat Gold, but not quite at 15 carat Gold, so I suspect it is 12 carat Gold, a standard only used in the UK between 1854-1932.
It is yellow toned Gold and closes with a small bolt ring, which works well. It has a tag with the makers mark M&M. This is the makers mark for manton and mole, a birmingham based gold chain makers operating from the late 19th into the early 20th century.
It is in excellent antique condition.
This gorgeous chain will be sent by a tracked and insured method and presented in our luxury vintage style packaging with full description and care card.
